Orpheus prides itself on its dedication to artistic excellence and innovation. Since its founding in 1972, Orpheus has made a consistent commitment to share these values with a broad audience of public school students and others interested in
deepening their understanding of music and the positive impact it can have in our lives.

Every season, over 4,500 students are directly impacted by Orpheus concerts and education programs. Access Orpheus provides tickets to our Carnegie Hall concerts for public school students across the five boroughs of New York—at no cost. Our partnership with the Third Street Music School Settlement brings Orpheus musicians into the classroom for coachings and masterclasses. In our work with both Juilliard and Manhattan School of the Music, Orpheus works year round to train the next generation of professional musicians.
